The role of the admission committee is to review the profile of candidate members on the basis of objective criteria and to advise the board of directors (“the board”) accordingly. The committee holds meetings on a regular basis.
The admission committee guarantees:
- Impartiality, absence of prejudices and avoidance of conflict of interests in their decision;
- The possibility for everyone to be listened to by the admission committee or the board concerning a decision which affects them;
- To take action and/or decision within a reasonable time frame.
The admission committee includes highly qualified representatives of both the business and the academic world. As from March 2012, it will be composed of Georges Anthoon, Astrid de Lathauwer, Jean de Leu de Cecil, Eric Domb, Véronique Halloin, Sophie Manigart, Marleen Smekens and Serge Wibaut.
