This website has been designed to support the initiative of Women on Board, an association created by five women willing to promote access of women to directorship roles within Belgian enterprises (public and private).
Women on Board asbl/vzw was created in December 2009. It has now implemented its primary goals:
- to create a pool of women board members, and
- to facilitate access to this pool for Belgian enterprises.
The purpose of this website is to facilitate the connection of all parties interested in this initiative to move it forward.
For the sake of efficiency and cost containment, the rest of the content of this website is available only in English since it is the most widely used language of our target audiences.

Ce site internet a été conçu pour soutenir l'initiative de Women on Board, une association créée par cinq femmes ayant la volonté de promouvoir l'accès des femmes au conseil d'administration d'entreprises belges (publiques et privées).
L'asbl Women on Board a été mise sur pied en décembre 2009. L'association a désormais réalisé ses objectifs initiaux :
- créer un vivier de femmes membres (susceptibles d'intégrer un conseil d'administration) et
- donner accès à ce vivier aux entreprises belges.
Le but de ce site est donc de faciliter la rencontre de toutes les parties prenantes à cette initiative, afin de la promouvoir.
Dans un souci d'efficacité et de limitation des coûts, le reste du contenu du site n'est accessible qu'en anglais car c'est la langue la plus utilisée au sein de nos publics-cibles.
Deze website is ontworpen om het initiatief van Women on Board te ondersteunen.
Deze vereniging is door vijf vrouwen opgericht met het doel de deelname van vrouwen te promoten in raden van bestuur, belangrijke comités en beslissingsnemende organen van kleine en grote Belgische ondernemingen, van de publieke of private sector.
De vzw Women on Board bestaat sinds december 2009. De vereniging heeft inmiddels haar oorspronkelijke doelstellingen uitgevoerd :
- een visvijver van kandidaten vrouwen bestuurders creëren en
- de toegang tot deze visvijver tot de Belgische ondernemingen te geven.
Het doel van deze site is dus de ontmoeting tussen alle betrokkene personen van dit initiatief gemakkelijker te maken.
Omwille van efficientie en kostenbeheersing is de rest van de inhoud van deze website alleen beschikbaar in het Engels omdat het de meest gangbare taal is, gebruikt door onze doelgroepen.
