During that exceptional evening gathering some 200 persons, after an introduction made by Emmanuël de Talhouet, CEO of AXA Belgium, AXA presented the activities of the AXA Research fund and gave the opportunity to be live-connected with Dixie Dansecoer who is currently conducting an expedition in the middle of Antartica.AXA values people for who they are and aims to attract employees that reflect the entire community. Diversity is a way of thinking.This helps AXA to attract the best people, to use their talents effectively and to help manage their life-work balance. In addition, climate change and risk prevention are important pillars of AXA's business. As an insurance company, AXA sees it as its duty to play a role in working towards risk prevention, for example in the case of natural disasters caused by climate change. Centered Leadership is a result of 5 years of research on what it takes to enable female leaders to achieve and sustain fullfilling careers in senior positions. The approach is developed by Joanna Barsh, a senior partner in McKinsey & Company New York office, and also the author of How Remarkable Women Lead.The objectives of the workshop were to cultivate the skills and mindset needed for success, to find the right way to have impact and to inspire others to follow.
