Admissions Committee
The role of the Admissions Committee is to review the profile of candidate members on the basis of objective criteria and to advise the Board of Directors (“the Board”) accordingly. Committee meetings are held on a quarterly basis.
The Admissions Committee guarantees:
- Impartiality, fairness and avoidance of conflicts of interests in their recommendations for admission;
- The opportunity for everyone to be listened to by the Admissions Committee or the Board concerning any decision affecting them;
- To take action and/or reach a decision within a reasonable time frame.
- The Admissions Committee includes highly qualified representatives from both the business and academic worlds.
Meet our Committee
Dirk Oosterlinck
President of the Admissions Commmittee
Dirk Oosterlinck is Director at Korn Ferry. He also served as Vice Chief of Staff to the Minister of Public Enterprises. He is currently a board member of Hachiko vzw and of Wit-Gele Kruis Oost-Vlaanderen, and served on several advisory Boards of startups.
He was elected Marketer of the Year and Direct Marketing personality of the year, both in 2012.
Ann Cattelain
Admissions Committee member
Ann Cattelain has led Federgon, Belgium’s federation of HR services, since 2020, guiding its expansion across a range of labour market services. Ann Cattelain also serves as a judge in social affairs, employers, at the Court of Justice Brussels; treasurer of the World Employment Confederation; and VP of the European Confederation of Search and Selection Associations. Her focus remains on shaping effective labour market policies and championing the HR services sector’s growth.
Xavier de Walque
Admissions Committee member
Xavier has an MBA from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. He started his career in 1988 as adviser to the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the Budget, before joining Cobepa in 1991 where he led the Belgian Corporate Finance activities. Between 2001 and 2011, he worked for Dexia Group where he held various executive management positions, lastly as Vice Chairman of the Management Board and CFO of Dexia Bank Belgium, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dexia Insurance Belgium. Since May 2011, Xavier is CFO of Cobepa, and is non-executive director of Ageas.
Jean van den Eynde
Admissions Committee member
Jean Van den Eynde is a key member of the firm’s Board & CEO Advisory Partners and Financial Services Sector. He also leads the firm’s operations in Japan. He conducts a broad range of assignments and specializes in recruiting board members, CEOs, legal and financial officers. Based in Brussels, Jean works with clients both across Europe and around the world.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Jean was Senior Counsel with the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group in Washington, DC. Previously, he was with the Brussels law firm of De Bandt, van Hecke, Lagae & Van Bael (now Linklaters) and with Sullivan & Cromwell in New York.
Christiane Franck
Admissions Committee member
Christiane Franck currently works at Hydralis SA, as Chairman and Artsen Zonder Vakantie Vzw, as Director.
Ms. Franck also formerly worked at VIVAQUA SA, as Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2017, VIRTEO SA, as Chairman, Telenet BV, as Independent Non-Executive Director, Telenet Group Holding NV, as Independent Non-Executive Director from 2015 to 2022, Telenet Group NV, as Independent Director, and Université Libre de Bruxelles, as Director. Ms. Franck received her graduate degree from Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Françoise Roels
Admissions Committee member
She holds degrees in law and philosophy (Ghent University), as well as in taxation. Her impressive career began at Loyens, followed by key roles at Euroclear/JP Morgan and within the Belgacom Group. She joined Cofinimmo's Executive Committee in 2004 as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer & Secretary General, where she oversaw the Governance, Legal, Compliance & Risk, Taxation, Information Management, ESG, and Human Resources departments. Furthermore, Françoise is a co-founder of Women on Board and a board member of Guberna and the Fondation Les Petits Riens.
Chantal Cabuy
Admissions Committee Officer
With a career built around guiding organizations and individuals toward their full potential, Chantal is a seasoned HR executive and certified Professional Coach.
Her rich background includes more than 20 years leading HR and communication strategy at Cofinimmo, alongside active leadership roles in prominent professional networks like ADP Bru-Bra and Alter foRHum.
She plays a key role in the Admission Committee, assessing female leaders candidates who wants to joing our talent pool at Women on Board Belgium.
Saskia Schatteman

Saskia is a seasoned executive and board member with an extensive career spanning telecommunications, media, and professional services.
She brings strong talent identification and selection expertise, excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills, and a genuine commitment to the mission of Women on Board Belgium.
Robert van der Eijk

With 30+ years of global experience across financial services, consulting, and technology, Jean focuses on one thing: helping organizations grow faster and compete smarter. Across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia, he has led expansion, transformation, and commercial acceleration in environments where execution makes the difference.
Beyond business, he supports stronger diversity in leadership through Women on Board Belgium and contribute to developing future leaders as Guest Professor at KU Leuven. I also stay closely connected to innovation through startups and industry networks, keeping a constant pulse on where markets are moving.
