Commitment & Remuneration

Term: 3 years (renewable)

Language: Fluency in French, Dutch and English is required.

Desired Profile

Executive Experience: You hold a solid international track record in executive leadership roles within large organizations, ideally in the service sector, HR services, or insurance companies.

Languages: You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English, and thrive in multicultural and cross-border environments.

Board Experience: You possess board-level experience within large, complex organizations.

Insurance & Commercial Expertise: Solid operational experience in the sector, including distribution challenges, financial drivers, and key profitability metrics.

Prudential Framework & Solvency II: Operational understanding of Solvency II (SCR/MCR), ORSA reports, sector-specific financial statements (IFRS/Prudential), and sustainability (ESG).

Governance & NBB Criteria: Profile strictly meeting the NBB Fit & Proper requirements (competence, propriety) with a strong command of the role of the four key functions.

Risk Management & Actuarial: Ability to challenge actuarial models (pricing, reserving, stress testing) and risk frameworks (risk appetite, Cyber, ESG).

Compliance & Consumer Protection: Sound knowledge of NBB/FSMA legal obligations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and customer protection regulations.

Change Management: Proven experience in change management.

M&A: Experience in international mergers and acquisitions in Europe, including post-merger integration.

Finance: Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze investment proposals.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong human and relationship skills—active listening, stakeholder management, critical thinking (offering opposing or complementary viewpoints to broaden discussions), negotiation, and consensus-building skills.

Leadership Style: Deep and authentic leadership style combining strategic vision, pragmatism, transparency, and ethical conduct.

Ambassadorship: You act as an ambassador for Securex's values and long-term vision with clients, employees, and partners.
